«People work for money but go the extra mile for recognition, praise and rewards.» (Dale Carnegie) The Golden Headset Award was introduced 11 years ago to show the service leaders, unveil their passionate work, recognise their commitment, make the service heroes visible, learn from each other, improve together and shine brighter. Last night, not only amazing service champions like Zürcher Kantonalbank, DPD (Schweiz) AG, Baloise Group and Swisscom were awarded – I was also honored and blessed with the Hall of Fame Award for establishing this dedicated Award and community initiatives, that inspire Customer Service Leads to share their GRAND service experiences each year; customer and employee experiences that are so precious and exceptional, that they are valued by the customers, team mates AND by the best jury bord on earth, the 13-strong Golden Headset Award Jury judges, including former Hall of Fame honorees, renowned industry experts, scientists, unionists and consumer protectors (which is absolutely unique; we should be very proud of this holistic view) – an even greater honor and motive for the next extra mile.
